Convair CV-240 - Hamilton Standard Propeller - Highly Polished - Classic Heavyweight - Price Before Discount £5425 | AEROART.CO.UK

Hamilton Standard Propeller blade for Convair CV – 240

The Convair CV-240 was produced from 1947 to 1954 as a possible replacement to the ageing Douglas DC3 Dakota . Boasting a more modern design with cabin pressurisation, the 240 series was well suited to many types of civil and military roles. Although quite scarce these days the “Convairliners” in various forms still continue to fly well into the 21st century

As usual with propellers from Aeroart, this prop has been chemically stripped to remove all the paint and then painstakingly polished on both sides to a mirror finish, it has undergone 18 stages of sanding and five stages of polishing to achieve a perfect flawless finish.

Shown here one 2 types of bases, one is “Flame Red” with a polished aluminium top, the other is “Cherry red” with a polished aluminium and brass top. Colour of base can be changed to most standard colours and can be topped in either aluminium, brass or copper for an additional fee
